Radio ECHO provides the opportunity for participants to learn all the skills needed to take them from production meeting ideas through live stream broadcasting.

Each week the participant team research and devise their script, choose a music playlist before broadcasting that afternoon.

This is recorded and made available as a down-loadable podcast.

Radio ECHO Volunteer Support Assistant

Radio ECHO is seeking a Volunteer Support Assistant for its new project day, beginning March 2024.

Whilst the quality of the broadcast element of the sessions is central to the session, the planning, researching and learning aspects of the day are equally important, if not more so, and the Volunteer Support Assistant will play a crucial part in helping the participants achieve in these areas.

Supporting individuals or groups of participants to get the most out of their learning/ the session as a whole.

COST: ECHO is an approved provider with Herefordshire Council and so the cost of attending a day service can often be included in a support plan. We accept commissioned places, direct payments or self funded attendees
