Aloha!

What is better than sitting with a cocktail watching the sunset on a tropical Island? Taking part in the ECHO Colourfest of course!

By popular demand ECHO is holding its Third colour fest paint run called the Hawaiian Colourfest. The theme of this years festival is the beach so we have created the “Hawaiian Beach” colourun. To recognise this we will be giving all runners and walkers a pair of sunglasses to keep out those Hawaiian rays.

We are hoping that 300 participants will take part. Starting off in white T shirts you will run around the course and, at regular points, you’ll pass through a paint station where coloured paint will be thrown at you (NB paint is very safe, (100% flour and biodegradable). By the end of the course you’ll be covered in paint and ……..smiles!

The run will be preceded by a warmup session from the stage with keep fit professionals plus DJ and music.

You can fun run, or walk with paint – choose one of the following distances – 5km, 2.5 km or 1km accessible route, starting and finishing on the Grange, Leominster, HR6 8NI.

Registration is from 10.00am, warm up at 10.45 and starting at 11.00am. £10 per adult, £5 per child (children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult).

In addition, we ask you to raise as much sponsorship as possible to help ECHO continue supporting adults with learning and other disabilities in Herefordshire. This year, we are donating a special edition T-shirt to any one individual or child who raised £50 or more.

Fees to take part in this amazing event are only £10 for an adult, £5 for a child (any children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult) and a £25 Family ticket (for 4).

Mayor of Leominster, Trish Marsh, congratulating some of the runners and walkers last year.
