Not just a Colourfest – a Colour Foam Fest!

ECHO announces the 2026 Colourfest paint run! As well as paint stations this year we are also introducing the Amazing XL Monster Cannon – yes – as well as paint you can be covered with foam! (paint and foam 100% safe and biodegradable). You know you want to!

Starting off in white T shirts you will run around the course and, at regular points, you’ll pass through a paint station where coloured paint will be thrown at you. By the end of the course you’ll be covered in paint, smiles – and foam!

The run will be preceded by a warmup session from the stage with keep fit professionals plus DJ and music.

You can fun run, or walk with paint – choose one of the following distances – 5km, 2.5 km or 1km accessible route, starting and finishing on the Grange, Leominster, HR6 8NI.

Registration is from 10.00am, warm up at 10.40 and starting at 11.00am.

In addition, we ask you to raise as much sponsorship as possible to help ECHO continue supporting adults with learning and other disabilities in Herefordshire. This year, funds raised will help contribute towards much needed social and leisure activities for ECHO’s members.

Fees to take part in this amazing event are only £12 for an adult, £7 for a child (any children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult) and a £30 Family ticket (for 4).

Participants at Colourfest 2025!

This event is part of the Leominster Festival

Is the powder safe? The colour is made from non-toxic, eco-friendly food-grade cornstarch. It is safe for skin and the environment.

What should I wear? Wear white clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Sunglasses are recommended to protect eyes, we will provide a pair of sunglasses, or you can wear your own.

Does the colour wash out? Mostly. It is best to wash clothes with cold water and soap as soon as possible. For hair, especially blonde, using oil beforehand or anti-dandruff shampoo helps.

Do I have to run? No, you can walk, jog, run or wheel (if you use a mobility aid). No bicycles / Scooters please.

Can children join? Yes, it is a family-friendly event

What if it rains? Most events go ahead rain or shine, unless the weather is dangerous.

Do Carers/Support pay? No, If you are supporting someone with a disability to take part in the ECHO Colourfest then you can access a free carer ticket to support them
