What is Storytelling? 

A place to unlock creativity and confidence through the magic of storytelling!

What would I do if I joined? 

Our sessions combine singing, movement, and drama to create inclusive, engaging experiences for everyone. 

What would I get from attending? 

Storytelling sparks imagination, strengthens memory, and builds essential life skills like teamwork, communication, and decision-making. Every session is a chance to grow, connect, and shine.

You will learn to:

  •  Build independence and celebrate achievements
  •  Make new friends in a supportive community

When do the sessions happen

Storytelling is open every Wednesday, 9.30am – 3.30pm and can found at ECHO Smart Space, 19 West Street, Leominster, HR6 8EP

What experience/abilities are required? 

Participants will receive full instruction by skilled staff members and volunteers, who all bring something different to the project in terms of their experience and specific skill sets. 

What outcomes can be expected? 

Practical Skills/Knowledge/Learning: 

  •  Improve key skills such as teamwork, memory, decision making and communication
  • Build confidence and a sense of self-esteem  
  • Develop a sense of community, reinforcing a feeing of belonging.

What does a place cost? 

ECHO is an approved provider with Herefordshire Council and so the cost of attending a day activity such as Radio ECHO can often be included in a support plan. We accept commissioned places, direct payments or self funded attendees. The current daily cost is £60.83
