The ECHO team is here to support, participants, families and professionals throughout the journey of joining one of our activities. We want to make sure that everyone who joins ECHO has a great experience every step of the way and understand that this can only be achieved with the right support.

If you are supporting someone and want to find out more about getting them onto one of our activities then please contact us on the details below.

ECHO Support

Claire Mee is our Referrals Co-ordinator, she is here to help you join an ECHO activity.

Claire will talk you through the process and help to arrange everything you need to be able to come to ECHO.

We can help support you:

  • Join a community activity whether you need one to one support or are happy with support in a group
  • Attend one of our leisure activities
  • With arranging funding to pay for activities if needed
  • Support with your ongoing involvement with ECHO

Taster days

We understand that doing something new can be a bit scary. That is why we are happy to arrange free taster days to any of our activities.

Taster days give you the chance to meet staff, volunteers and other participants as well as have a go at the activity to see if you would like it.

To book your taster day, simply use the Book Your FREE Taster Day button on the Activity page.

Referral Process

If you have any queries throughout the process, just contact our Participant involvement worker on claire.mee@echoherefordshire.co.uk or call 01568 620 307

A typical Journey consists of

  1. Meeting the individual who would like to join us and finding out from them and their support what their interests, wants and any particular needs are. From this we can help recommend activities they might be interested in- or they might suggest a project that has caught their attention.
  2. We help to arrange a taster session (or sessions) for the participant to meet the project staff, who they will be working with and have a go at the activity
  3. If everyone is happy, we can then support you through the process of getting a place, whether this is via the Council or with you direct.

Referral Form

The best way to enrol on an activity is to come along for a free Taster Day, where we can meet you and talk through the referral form together — it’s usually much easier this way.

However, if you (or someone who supports you) would prefer to complete the form in advance, you can use the link below and send it to the below details.
