Its’ live! Eaton Barn Community Garden Appeal launches with an ambitious £5,000 target to improve facilities at the project and needs your help.

We are launching an appeal for our horticulture project, Eaton Barn Community Garden to raise £5,000 through the Calor Rural Community Fund. We really need a new heating system to replace our inefficient and wasteful wood burning stove.  We’d like to make sure that when we all return to the project post coronavirus, our participants are able to enjoy a wider range of winter activities at Eaton Barn. Winning the grant will help!

Projects are judged on social value, environmental impact, and extent of community support. You can help by taking a minute to like our appeal page (1 like = 1 point) or, even better, making a pledge. One pledge (regardless of amount) = 10 points. You have already invested the time to read these two paragraphs – now for the quick simple ACTION that can make a valuable long-term difference. Follow the link and click ‘like’ or ‘support’

We have until 16 July to get as much support as possible!  Each vote and pledge will boost our chances of getting the grant, and to help even more please forward this email and share with your colleagues, friends and family and colleagues to ask for their support as well.

There some fantastic rewards on offer for those who chose to pledge support for the project, these include £5 for a hand-tied bunch of garden grown flowers, £50 for a day’s river fishing up to £500 to use the venue for an event.

And for £100 the team will come and give you a day’s help in your own garden.

This is a fantastic project providing a wonderful outdoor space for many to enjoy. Please give them your support with a vote, a pledge or a share.
